Hoshi no Koe

Hoshi no Koe Made by Shinkai Makoto, Adapted by Sahara Mizu
This Manga mainly caught my eye because it had only one volume which is quite rare for mangas. so i bought it because i love short mangas, and it turned out to be a really great manga.

In a future filled with a boundless potential for interstellar peace and prosperity, Mikako joins a research team to explore the recent contact between humans and alien races. She ventures out into space, leaving behind Noboru, the one young man she loves. As she travels deeper into this new frontier, her only connection with her boyfriend is through cell-phone text messages. But the years pass, and Mikako barely ages in the timelessness of space--while Noboru grows older and considers moving on with his life...In this timeless romance between star-crossed lovers in the most tragic of settings, there are some places man may not be ready to go.

This is a really beautiful love story where time and space separates the two but they never give up on each other. I was really touched when i read it and i really wanted to watch the anime too since the manga is just an adaption from the anime.

This is really an extraordinary story of how painfull it is to be apart. i really really enjoyed this manga and if you like romance manga you will probably too
